William E. Weatherford

WILLIAM E. WEATHERFORD GRIFFITH, IN "Orange Hat Bill from Schererville Walmart" William E. Weatherford, age 71, passed away Sunday July 21, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia Weatherford; children: Michele (Gary) Towle, Dena (Tom) Schmidt, Ben Weatherford son/grandson; grandchildren: Gabe Towle, Melony Schmidt; sister: Jennie (Jack) Powers; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Pauline Weatherford; brother, McClellen Ray Howard Weatherford; and sister, Armilda Potacki. William enjoyed Listening and playing country music on his acoustic guitar, as well as fishing, hunting, NASCAR, gardening, and was a cubs fan. William also enjoyed spending his time volunteering. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the funeral home from 5:00-9:00 PM.
