Aubrey Nolan Parker

Aubrey Nolan Parker, age 80, passed away on March 2, 2012, in McKinney, TX. He was born on July 17, 1931, in Pittsburg, TX to Wallance and Audrey Parker. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth Parker; son, Brian Parker; daughter, Karla Parker Andes and husband Chad; grandchildren, Paige Nicole and Cole Aubrey Scott Parker; brothers, Joe and Marty Parker; sisters, Doris Fairchild and Veta McCulloch. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Scott Parker; brothers, Gale and Dale Parker. Aubrey and his family lived in Richardson, TX for 20 years before moving to Plano, TX in 1978. He retired from General Motors after 36 years of service. Aubrey was an avid muscle car and drag racing enthusiast who had great knowledge of cars. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home from 6:30-8:30 pm. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in the funeral home Chapel at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at the DFW National Cemetery at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Homestead of McKinney, 1801 Pearson Ave., McKinney, TX 75069. Family requests, casual attire, no suits, ties or dresses.
