

He was born in New York on August 11, 1935, and was raised in Waterford, Connecticut. Bernard, or “Bernie” as he was known by most of his friends, graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1957 and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He was married to Frances Tackling Pysz on August 30th, 1958.
Bernard proudly served in the United States Army Reserve. He had a career in a variety of fields for 30 years with Texas Instruments. He had a passion for sailing on The Pooh, flying radio control planes, photography, being an avid reader, and spending time with his family and friends. Bernie never met a stranger and always had a story or joke to share.
He is survived by his beloved wife Frances with whom he shared a beautiful 63-year marriage, along with his four children he was so very proud of, Debbie Dumesnil and her husband Mark of Corpus Christi, TX, Ken Pysz and his wife Bobbi of Plano, TX, Kathi Noble and her late husband Mike of Plano TX, and Andre Pysz and his wife Robin of Plano, TX, grandchildren and step grandchildren include Dustin Pringle, Jared Pringle, Melissa Noble, Matthew Noble, Alison Ferguson, and Adam McGinnis, as well as great grandchildren Violet Pringle and Luke Ferguson, Ian Ferguson, Brooke Ferguson, Liam McGinnis, and Gavin McGinnis. Bernie is also survived by his brother Ken J. Pysz, sisters, Polly Reilly and Claire Thompsett, and numerous friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday November 15th at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ted Dickey West Funeral Home – 7990 President George Bush Turnpike (Coit Road at George Bush) Dallas, TX 75252
