Bettye Williams Clinton, 87, of Dallas, TX passed away June 7, 2013. She was born in Brice, TX on June 17, 1925. Bettye is preceded in death by her husband Charles Clinton and her grandson Kyle Clinton and numerous other family members. She is survived by her only son Charles Clinton Jr.; granddaughter, Carey Clinton who is named after the town in Texas where Bettye was raised; sisters, Juanita McElroy, and Janis Davis; and many other family members. Bettye was married for 36 years most of that time was spent in South Florida and Dallas. During WWII she worked at the Childress Air Force Base and then transferred to an Army Hospital in Fort Worth. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and attended all eight Cowboys superbowls. There will be a memorial service held on Wednesday, June 12 at 11am at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home; 7990 George Bush Turnpike Dallas, TX 75252. She was loved by her family in life and will forever live in our hearts.
