Beverley was raised in Newton, Massachusetts by her single mother, Esther (LeBlanc) Donovan. While growing up, Beverly enjoyed movies and was active in many fan clubs. Beverley graduated from Newton North High School in 1955 and went on to work at a bank, it was there that she would meet the love of her life, Ted Scafidi. From the moment she saw him at a bank Christmas party, she told her friend, “I am going to marry that man.”, and she did on September 15, 1956. Beverley was always lonely not having any siblings and she always knew she wanted a big family and her and Ted welcomed their first child in 1958 with 6 more to follow. Beverley loved being a homemaker and loved taking care of her children, she was a loving mother and made sure her children had a wonderful childhood, she was so much fun.
The move to Texas was made in 1991 where she and Ted retired and took many great trips with great friends and enjoyed being grandparents. We know she is Heaven with our dad dancing to an Elvis tune and sipping on a glass of merlot.
