Beverly Faye Tannous

Born on December 23, 1939, in Concordia, Kansas, to Hazel and Leonard Cyre, Beverly was raised in Kokomo, Indiana. She married George Tannous in 1963, and they later made their home in Dallas, Texas where she raised her family and built a fulfilling life. She and George remained married until his passing in 2019.

Beverly was the devoted mother of three children, Stephanie, Victor and John. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and warmth that will forever be cherished.

With a successful career in banking and home building, Beverly was a woman of great determination and skill. Yet, her true passion was creating a welcoming home for family and friends. Known as a force in the kitchen and a generous host, Beverly loved nothing more than sharing delicious meals and making everyone feel like part of her family. Her door was always open, and her hospitality was unmatched. Beverly also volunteered at the North Texas Food Bank and at Perkins Chapel where she attended mass each Sunday.

Beverly’s life was a testament to love, resilience and generosity. She was an incredible wife and mother whose unwavering dedication to her family was the foundation of her life. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all that knew her.

In addition to her husband, George, Beverly was preceded in death by her sister, Leonora Hulet. She is survived by her children, Stephanie, Victor and John, her sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Bob Mills, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Beverly will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at 6:00 PM with a Rosary to begin at 7:00pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Rd., Dallas, Texas 75252. A funeral mass will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at All Saints Catholic Church, 5231 Meadowcreek Dr, Dallas, TX 75248. A catered reception will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 immediately following the Funeral at All Saints Catholic Church. A committal service will occur Wednesday, December 4, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.

Serving as pallbearers are Victor Tannous, John Tannous, Vincent Billings, Tony Billings, Paul Billings and Josh Moore.
