I'm married to Luz A. Acevedo Cuevas a niece she took part in raising. I met her (Aunt Blanca) in or around 1970. She always made me feel like part of the family with her kindness towards me. I started calling her Aunt Sunshine a few years ago. No matter how somber the situation was she would manage to put on a bubbly attitude when she spoke to us. I admired her for that approach to life. Aunt Sunshine I will miss you dearly. Say hello to Lloyd and the family and may the Lord embrace your soul for eternity.

She and I use to laugh about being the two shortest in the family! Every time a grandchild would pass her in height she’d remind me about our heights! I never told her she had become shorter than me she always claimed we were the same height. Now I’m officially the shortest one, the only ones shorter than me are under 11 yrs old. Missing you already Blanca!
