Blanca Cuevas Lambert, 87, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. She was born on September 22, 1931, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, to the late Don Severiano Cuevas & Alejandrina (Rosa) Cuevas.
Blanca earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from the Catholic University of Santa Maria in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She taught in Puerto Rico and went on to teach at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Conroe, Texas and St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Bryan, Texas. Blanca enjoyed being involved in the Texas A&M International Club. During the last 8 months of her life, Blanca lived at Sunrise of Plano, where she made wonderful friends and enjoyed life to its fullest. She was a devout Catholic who loved her family, and especially adored her grandchildren. Blanca was a wonderful person who was loved by all. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Lloyd Lambert, Sr.; and daughter, Karen Brewer. Blanca is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Herman & Frances Lambert of West Columbia, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Debra & Dave Patrick of McKinney, TX; grandchildren, Monica (Casey) Pearce, Lisa (Chris) Klesel, David (Anna) Patrick, Evin (Brittany) Brewer, John (Josie) Patrick, and Justin (Jessica) Lambert; great-grandchildren, Dallas, Ashtin, Carter, Gunnar, Gray, Clara, J.L., Foley, Catherine, Jameson, & Ryland.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 2:00pm at Conroe Memorial Cemetery, 1600 Porter Rd., Conroe, TX 77301. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 615 McDade St., Conroe, TX 77301 or to St. Joseph Catholic School, 600 S. Coulter Dr., Bryan, TX 77803.
