Carolyn Mae Smith

On December 22nd 2025 at the age of 85 heaven gained one of the most beautiful kind hearted angels on earth. Carolyn Mae (Carter) Smith passed away peacefully and is no longer in pain. Our hearts are broken but rejoicing that she is at her final home with Jesus and reunited with so many loved ones. Our memories with her are our treasures never to be forgotten.

Carolyn was a loving sister, mother, grandmother and Gigi! She is survived by her sister, brother in law, her 4 daughters, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Carolyn graduated from the University of Alabama with a nursing degree in her younger years, and later she moved back to Alabama with her husband of 29yrs. John L. Smith became a beloved member at Southside Baptist Church, Southside, Al.

We love you with a bushel and a peck and a hug around your neck!

God take good care of her till we see her again!!
