Celin Balmore Barrientos, age 53, of Plano, Texas passed away during the morning hours of Friday April 13, 2018. Celin was born Saturday May 2, 1964, in El Salvador, to Dina Areli (Escobar) and Celino Balmore Barrientos. Celin is the second child of five children.
Celin grew up in El Salvador, graduating from Jefferson Preparatory School in 1986. At a young age Celin started to develop a charismatic personality. He loved spending time with his family and neighborhood friends. He will always be remembered for putting a smile on everyone's face.
Celin met the love of his life in August of 1982, Sonia America Navarro, while walking to the farm. She became the light of his world and the two eloped August 2, 1985. In 1987 the couple moved to America. Their marriage would be blessed with three amazing sons; Jessie Balmore Barrientos April 09, 1987, Rodrigo Alejandro Barrientos May 31, 1990, and Brandon Eugene Barrientos February 02, 1999. They enjoyed the addition of a daughter-in-law, Myranda Shilling Barrientos, which brought them their pride and joy on March 18, 2015, a granddaughter Brynlee Barrientos. Celine was looking forward to the birth of his next grandchild, due this November. Family was Celin’s everything and it showed in his commitment and adoration to his beloved wife of thirty-three years.
Celin was a man that you could sit and talk about life with and would advise to seek God in all your situations. Celin loved to put others feelings ahead of his own. Many times friends and family would sit and listen to his jokes as he would fill the room with laughter and amusement. He loved to spend time with his wife and sons grilling and watching soccer.
Celin is survived by his wife, Sonia Barrientos (Navarro): sons Jesse Barrientos, Rodrigo Barrientos, Brandon Barrientos; daughter-in-law Myranda Barrientos (Shilling); granddaughter Brynlee Barrientos; a grandchild expected November 2, 2018; sisters Rosario Gonzales (Barrientos), Dinora Chavez(Barrientos); Brothers Dore Barrientos, Dennis Barrientos.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 5-6:30PM, followed by a reception from 6:30-9PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Road, Dallas, Texas 75252.

En 1987 la pareja se mudó a Estados Unidos. Su matrimonio sería bendecido con tres hijos increíbles; Jessie Balmore Barrientos, 09 de abril de 1987, Rodrigo Alejandro Barrientos, 31 de mayo de 1990, y Brandon Eugene Barrientos, 02 de febrero de 1999. Disfrutaron de la incorporación de una nuera, Myranda Shilling Barrientos, que les trajo orgullo y alegría el 18 de marzo de 2015, una nieta Brynlee Barrientos. Brynlee era su princesa de viva y alegria. Celin esperava que naciera su próximo nieto, en noviembre. La familia era todo para Celin y se demostró en su compromiso a su querida esposa de más de 30 años.
Celin era un hombre con el que podías sentarte y hablar sobre la vida y aconsejarte a buscar a Dios en todas tus situaciones. A Celin le encantaba poner los sentimientos de otros antes que los suyos. Muchas veces, amigos y familiares se sentaban y escuchaban sus bromas mientras llenaba la sala de risas y diversión. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su esposa y sus hijos asando a la parrilla y viendo fútbol.
A Celin le sobreviven su esposa, Sonia Barrientos (Navarro): hijos Jesse Barrientos, Rodrigo Barrientos, Brandon Barrientos; nuera Myranda Barrientos (Shilling); nieta Brynlee Barrientos; un nieto esperado el 2 de noviembre de 2018; hermanas Rosario Gonzales (Barrientos-Escobar), Dinora Chavez (Barrientos); Hermanos Dore Barrientos, Dennis Barrientos.
Una celebración de la vida se llevará a cabo el domingo 15 de abril de 2018 de 5-6: 30PM, seguido de una recepción de 6: 30-9PM en Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 8011 Frankford Road, Dallas, Texas 75252.
