Dave is survived by his wife Virginia "Ginny" Sturm (nee Lehman); his daughters Margaret Boyd and Christine Rode, Husband Darcy Rode; grandchildren, Liam Boyd (Anneliese Boyd), Helena Boyd (Bastian Wood), Wayne Rode and Sara Rode. His nieces and nephews will miss him too.
Dave was born in Milwaukee, WI on January 4, 1940 to Joseph J. Sturm and Ruth V. Huffman. Dave and Ginnny married on October 7, 1961 and moved to Dallas, TX in 1962. Dave earned his masters plumbing certification and excelled into a very successful plumbing career owning his own plumbing company along with a lube store and retiring as a code enforcement officer for the city of Plano.
Dave was an avid golfer throughout his life and when not playing, he could be found watching the Golf Channel on the weekend. Dave will always be remembered as the hardest working man in the family and there wasn't anything he didn't know how to fix.
