It's just one of the calamities of our existence that we come in and out of each other's lives the way we do.  Last evening, November 4, 2016 (your moms birthday) I was bouncing around facebook and your mothers name popped up as someone I might know. Well absolutely, I thought your mom was wonderful and I had to go and see how Joy had been doing all these years and I noticed her posts, many of hope, some of strength and few of loss. There were pictures of her surrounded by her sisters and family. 

There was one face missing from those pictures. 

  I had recently become friends with Gina again and she confirmed to me what I feared to be true. You were too young, too funny and deserved so much more out of this life. 
 So last night I cried a bit, I remembered Christine stories (some of them were more like events and I still tell some of them to this day to people that didn't even know you) and I just sat and remembered your bright eyes, your big smile and your beautiful laugh.
 Knowing those things aren't here anymore hurts. I'm sorry we lost touch.

On January 18 Christine would have celebrated her birthday. I miss her as much now as ever.

Christine always encouraged me when I worked with her at the library. Christine was dedicated and enjoyed helping people. She knew how to be a good friend also! I'll miss her!

Christine and I worked at Borders together about 6 years ago and she will be missed !
