OBITUARY

Christopher "Chris" Mayzner

October 31, 1944July 25, 2019

Christopher Mayzner October 31, 1944 - July 25, 2019. Born in Hirschberg, Germany and passed in his home in Plano, Texas. Chris is survived by his wife Dayle, son Chris and his wife Ashley, daughter Danielle and her husband Brandon, daughter Nicole, and granddaughters Brinlee, Brooke, and Reagan. He is also survived by his sisters Zofia Hoya and Charlotte Majzner. Chris was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

After graduating from St Edwards University in Austin, he served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In 1976, he earned his CPA from the University of Illinois. Chris met his wife, Dayle, in Chicago. They were married in 1978 and had son, Chris, the following year. In 1981 they moved to Plano, TX and had two daughters, Danielle and Nicole. He spent more than 40 years as a CPA where he was able to travel the world as part of his career, but he always managed to be home to spend time with his family. Chris spent his free time trading in the stock market, watching old war movies, cheering for Alabama and Oklahoma football, and expressing his political opinions.

We will miss so many great things about him- his everlasting concern and protection for his family, his drive to always want to help even when he was becoming too weak, his choice of words at the dinner table when he would get on a political tangent, his thoroughness in researching everything, but, most of all, his unconditional love for his family.

Although we all are missing a huge piece of our hearts, we know he is in heaven with those who have passed before him. He is with us every day in our laughter, our tears, our joy and our sorrow. We know he will be forever watching over us, guiding us, and loving each and every one of us until we meet again.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, at 1:00 PM at DFW National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
