Deane was the second child of George and Margaret Stockhoff and had one older brother, George Stockhoff. She grew up in Chicago, Illinois and went to St. Viator's School and then graduated from Schurz High School Class of 1949 in the Irving Park neighborhood on the northwest side of Chicago.
She married the love of her life and best friend James "Bud" Donald Lamb on Saturday, November 3, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois and then began her new married life in Venezuela. Later, they returned to California then to Texas to raise their family.
Together they had five amazing children; Elizabeth, Cynthia, Jim, Stephen, received his heavenly wings only 3 days later, and David. Deane loved spending as much time as she could with her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church in Plano, Texas for 50 years.
Deane will be greatly missed by many as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Deane is survived by her Husband, James "Bud" Donald Lamb; Daughter and Son-in-law, Elizabeth (Kurt) Klemm (San Jose, California); Daughter and Son-in-law, Cynthia (Mike) Garrigan (Conroe, Texas); Son and Daughter-in-law, Jim (Mellany) Lamb (Flower Mound, Texas) and Son, David Lamb (Dickinson,Texas); Grandchild Christopher Garrigan, Grandchild Will Garrigan, Grandchild Erin Garrigan, Grandchild Charlie Lamb and Grandchild Laura Lamb.
Deane was preceded in death by; Son Stephen Lamb; Parents George and Margaret Stockhoff.
A Catholic Rosary for Deane will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, Texas. A Visitation with catered reception will follow Rosary.
