

Delores was an inflight medic in the Air Force during the Korean War. She married Ronald McCraw in 1955 and the couple had 4 children. She was a homemaker and also did substitute teaching at Coahoma ISD in Texas for a number of years.
In her spare time Delores enjoyed knitting, reading, and gardening. Delores was a prodigious knitter and gave hats, scarves, and gloves to everyone she met. She gave countless hats and booties to the VA, and countless infant hat and sweater sets to area hospitals. She loved history and archeology and could talk for hours on ancient history. She was an avid gardener who could make irises and roses grow and bloom in the west Texas desert.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a loving, generous mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald, her parents, her brother Frank and her sister Ethel.
Delores is survived by her children Paula Robinson (spouse Dale), Pierce McCraw (spouse Parish), Patricia Weeks (spouse Chris), Pearl Pauling (spouse Brian), her grandchildren Randy Robinson, Doug Robinson, Troy Robinson, David Pauling (spouse Marian), Ben Pauling (spouse Monica), and her brother Carl Jozaitis of Spanish Fort, Alabama and her sister Iona Villa of Chicago, Illinois.
There will be a Graveside Service with Air Force Honors at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery located on 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 on Tuesday, May 17 at 2PM.
