

Dennis Conrad Williams was born on October 7, 1937 in Camden, Arkansas to Fred H. and Elloweise Garmany Williams. Dennis departed this life June 22, 2014 at the age of 76, at home in Plano Tx, surrounded by his loving family. He graduated from Fairview School in Camden, Arkansas. He then attended Louisiana Tech and South Arkansas University. He moved to Dallas in 1957 and started his career in construction with the Henry C. Beck Co. where he worked for 23 years. He changed careers and worked for Lincorp, Real Estate Development Co. for five years as Vice President of construction on Lincoln Center in Dallas. After retirement he worked 20 years for Tom Thumb, retiring again in 2013.
Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors and looked forward each year to hunting with his son, brothers, extended family and friends in Arkansas.
Dennis is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 57 years Shirley Sandage Williams. One son Dennis Mitchell (Mitch) of Plano, brother James M. & wife Barbara of Camden, Ark., sisters in law Elouise Williams and Tillie Williams both of Dallas, Lenda Geiger of Atlanta, Beverly Williams and Barbara German both of Camden. He is also survived by many loved and loving nieces and nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by an infant daughter, his parents and four of his brothers-Fred H. Jr., Clifton, Louis and Tommy.
Visitation will be at Proctor Funeral home in Camden Arkansas between 10 - 11 a.m. on June 26 with Services following immediately at 11:00 in the chapel. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Camden.
