Donna Marie Harto Brown

June 21, 1959January 16, 2018

Donna Marie Brown, age 58, of Plano.

Jesus came to take her home on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. Donna was born on June 21, 1959, in Redbank, New Jersey, to the late John and Florence (Farnkopf) Harto. She lived in Europe with her parents and enjoyed the time spent there. Donna was a 1977 graduate of Cary High School, Cary, NC and went on to attend the Technical College of Alamance. She worked as a receptionist for the E.P.A. for three years and the I.R.S. for five years. Donna was a member of Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Plano. She enjoyed working out and enjoyed going to Texas Family Fitness. Donna was outgoing and had a great love for people and, in turn, was loved by all. She brought sunshine to every room she entered and she'll be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Swan and Nancy Branconnier. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Stan Brown; nieces, Christine Ingenbrandt, Laura Lanzi, and Denise Swan; nephew, Robert Stelton-Swan; and other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3601 W 15th St, Plano, TX 75075 with Pastor Joel Shaltanis officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215 or to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Suite 200, Landover, MD 20785. Stan, we are so very sorry for your loss. Donna was such a warm and friendly person. I loved hearing about her workout routines and how many miles she walked.
We at Lord of Life will always remember her desire to work hard and do a great job. I consider it a priviledge to get to know her as a Christian and a friend.
Jeff and I will hold you and the family in our prayers.
