Dorothy Steiner Ruch, age 101, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2016. She was born on November 19, 1914, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late James and Elizabeth (Dolan) Steiner.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Ruch, Sr., and three sisters, Iantha Dudley, Ruth Dolan, and Claire Steiner. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Toups; five sons, Carl (Delia) Ruch, Gerard (Mary Evelyn) Ruch, Michael (Vicky) Ruch, Kenneth Ruch, David (Meg) Ruch; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and brother, Albin (Anne) Steiner.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 12:00 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service, in St. Rita Catholic Church, 12521 Inwood Rd. (at Harvest Hill), Dallas, TX 75224. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
