

Frank D. Castellanos, age 64, of Frisco, Texas passed away in the early hours of June 5, 2023. Frank was born in Dallas, Texas in 1959 and was a lifelong Texan. Frank graduated from L.V. Berkner High School in 1977 and attended Richland Community College and Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches, Texas. Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 24 years, Shelli Jo; and his mother Lupe E. Castellanos. He leaves behind two daughters: Lara Walls of Frisco, Texas, and Sara Pennington of Plano, Texas; two granddaughters Aubrey and Hartley Castellanos of Frisco, Texas; Father, Julian H. Castellanos, of Garland Texas; Brother, John R. Castellanos of Garland, Texas; Sister and Brother-in-law, Patricia and William Stansfield of Richardson, Texas; Father and Mother-in-Law, David and Becky Ferrell of Lincoln, California; and Brother-in-Law, Todd Ferrell of Pacifica, California. Frank worked for AT&T for 30 years and retired from AT&T in 2020. Frank also worked at The Container Store and developed many long-time relationships with fellow employees. Frank’s interests were Astronomy, the latest Technologies, but his daughters and granddaughters brought the most joy in his life! Frank was a great son, big brother, husband, brother-in-law, father, grandfather; and gave generously of his time to family and friends. He was taken from us far too soon and will be greatly missed, but we will continue his legacy in finding laughter every day and to remember his great big smile.
Visitation will be at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, Texas 75252 on Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 5-8 p.m.
A Funeral Ceremony will be held at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, Texas 75252 on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
