Jacque Duane Neer

Jacque Duane Neer, age 88, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 in Dallas, TX. He was born on October 15, 1934 in Sidney, Ohio. He graduated from Sidney High School, served in the U. S. Marine Corp in 1953, attended Ohio State University and stayed in Ohio until he moved to Houston, TX in 1972 as an apartment construction superintendent. After that he moved to Dallas area where he started his own business in sprinklers, sprinkler repair, landscaping and fences.

In 1981 he married Marilyn Kludt and resided in Plano, TX where they became members of Resurrection Lutheran Church. Jacque has always loved little ones and would pass out Smarties to the kids (and to some Big Kids!) He loved golfing, playing cards, being with families and eating PIE!!

Jacque is survived by his wife, Marilyn, brother Dave Neer, (Jan) children; Steve Neer (Veronica), Laura Minton and David Neer, step-daughter Lori Kludt; grandchildren, Lacey Minton & Trever Neer, gr. grandsons William Czeluscinski and T. J. Neer; TX nieces, Shelly Neer (Broden), Herrin (Jeff), TX nephew, Brent Neer (Cece) and 10 nephews, 5 nieces out of state.

Preceding his death are; his parents, Anna and Andrew Neer, brother, Herbert (killed in the service) brothers, Andrew, Richard, Robert, Gaylord; sisters, Roselle, Donna, Ruth and Christine. Step-son, Michael Kludt. One Nephew, Herbert Greer

Lord, take back the soul of Jacque Neer, whom you have shared with us. He brought us joy, we loved him well and will miss him.
