I had the privilege of working with Jim for several years and throughout that time what struck me the most was his fierce love of God, his family and the Dallas Mavericks. I would love our weekly 1:1 meetings that I scheduled for an hour because we always reserved at least 30min to talk about family and of course sports. Some of my fondest memories of Jim were during our work travels and the one particular trip where Laura also joined him. We would get done with our meetings all day long and then Laura would join us for dinner and share all her stories! 

Jim made everyone around him better. He was genuine, loyal and funny…loved his laughter. I deeply saddened by his loss and know that I was blessed to have know him.

I worked with Jim at Frito-Lay on and off over many years.  He always was well versed in what was happening "on the front line" and made sure that our strategies addressed their needs.  He was a great guy to work with, nice to everyone and always had a positive attitude.  He loved his family and made time for family and friends.  He will be missed very much.  I was lucky to have worked with him.

I've known the Dolan family for nearly 50 years and I'm so proud to call Cathy Dolan Frangipane a lifelong friend.  To say that the loss of Jim to your family is tragic and profound is an understatement.  Jim has always been the kind of person who thinks of others before himself and his heart is as big as the state of Texas that he has called home for these many years.  We pray for Laura and your whole family as you take the steps to heal from this loss.  May God be with you all.

I was Jim's hairstylist for over 25 years. He was the most loyal client and he always offered such wisdom and interesting conversation. I am so sad that he has passed and will absolutely miss seeing him every four weeks. Laura, Chris, and Jeff... I am so sorry for your loss. All Jim ever talked about when he was in my chair all those years was the three of you. Wishing you guys comfort and peace.

Jim and I go back to our Frito-Lay San Antonio Days in the 1990’s.  I remember him as a great team player - always focused on taking on tough challenges for the common good vs what might be an easier personal path.
Later in our careers, Jim had the opportunity to play a leading role in the evolution of our Sales Technology.  His focus on Stakeholders showed up again and I always thought he saw our ~20,000 Sales Frontline as his top priority.
While we drifted apart after retiring, I feel fortunate to have connected with him at our recent GTM reunion.  He was the same Jim - but now looking for ways to make things better for his HOA…

Jim may no longer be with us, but he left impressions that will last a lifetime.  I had the pleasure of working for Jim at PepsiCo.  As a leader, Jim always put people first and created a positive/safe environment that forever bonded our team.  Often, our 1:1 and team meetings consisted of Jim proudly boasting about Laura, Chris, and Jeff.  From the details of his boys exciting career progress to their eventful family vacations (bear encounters & cruises), Jim kept us abreast of his number one priority - his family.  

The theme of Jim leading with compassion continued past his PepsiCo world.  He continued to provide mentorship advice and kept the team connected with social gatherings. Jim never missed an opportunity to educate/engage others to serve and give back to the community, further expanding our network.
 
Jim's playful sports banter, redlined markups, and abundant heart will be deeply missed.  I'm continually grateful for Jim's influence in my life and in this world.

Prayers out to Laura and Family during this difficult time.  I know Jim as a Frito Lay colleague in San Antonio in the mid 90's.  Jim was very good in his Finance Role on the San Antonio Area Team!  He worked very hard taking great pride in his work and contributions to the team.  He was smart, positive, and a team player.  Jim was a good man that truly got along with everyone due to his grounded principles, focus on team, and his respect for everyone.  We were all young back then in our 30's and we used to play full court basketball about once per week after work.......and Jim had game on the Basketball court!  I also remember Jim's love for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets :) This is a sad time for all, but our faith will focus on the Reunion with Jim and others with our Lord in God's Kingdom someday! I feel honored to have known and worked alongside Jim at PepsiCo and to have witnessed his dedication, commitment and passion for the work he was engaged in and for the team that he led and worked alongside. Jim was always proud of his family as well and I enjoyed keeping up with what Laura and their boys were doing. My prayers are with you all.

Outside of work Jim became a partner in service to others where I again saw how quick he was to serve others in significant ways, without limits. 

Jim was a remarkable man. I will not forget his kindness, caring, service and passion in all he did. He will be missed by many.

Jim was a great professional and person. He was always looking to help everybody. I will always remember the time we spent working together in PepsiCo. I was shocked when I got the sad news. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss Laura.

My sincere condolences on the passing of Jim. He was a true gentleman and colleague who will be sadly missed. I had the pleasure of meeting Jim in Plano back in 2016 and 2017. He was a great leader and mentor in PepsiCo.  It was also great to meet with Jim and Laura when they came to Cork, Ireland.   My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time.

Laura and family, I am very sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Jim. I worked with Jim in PepsiCo and he was a great leader and friend. I have fond memories of welcoming Jim and Laura to Cork, Ireland. You both loved life, travel and exploring new experiences. Jim got a real kick out of Laura telling me about places she had visited in my home city that I’d never been to. May he rest in peace

My condolences to the family and friends of Jim. I worked with Jim on the professional level and we talked about golf, the masters, his community work with city house, and more. I had the pleasure of working with him on association matters for nearly 2 years. Always an upbeat personality, Jim cared about everything regarding his HOA and it showed when we spoke. I was their community manager. He was always looking out for others. He always was doing everything in his power to make everything perfect. Jim will be sorely missed by those who knew him, and i am thankful i was able to know him. Laura and family, my heart goes out to you. He loved you all the most and was so proud of you all!  Rest peacefully, faithful servant, your work is done here but we will carry on your legacy. I hope you have the best seats to the masters next year!!
