Jim was my department chief during my first engineering position at Western Electric in 1972. He helped me learn how to be a professional. His advice is still heeded 45 years later.
Prayers to the family.

May the blessing of God's soft rain be on you,
Falling gently on your head, refreshing your soul,
With the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming.
May the strength of the winds of Heaven bless you,
Carrying the rain to wash your spirit clean,
Sparkling after in the sunlight.

To Jim's family: So very sorry to hear this. I was his secretary when I first started at AT&T in the 80s. He was a very nice boss.
