Jean Marion Harmon, age 80, passed away on August 4, 2022 in Dallas, TX. She was born on August 16, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Jack and Naida Bullock. Jean was raised in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, TX and attended Adamson High School where she later graduated in 1959. She went on to marry Edward Urias in 1964 after they met at the Texas State Fair. She was working at WRR radio station on the fair grounds and he caught her eye through the glass. Together, they raised 2 wonderful daughters. Jean was a talented seamstress and homemaker. She served her local community as a seamstress for more than 20 years.
In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafts, puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. You could often find Jean shopping with her daughters or working on an art project. She was extremely talented and made everything from Halloween costumes to wedding dresses. Her family will always remember her as a true lady who was at her best when she was serving others with her kindness and witty humor.
Jean is preceded in death by her first husband, Ed Urias, father of her children; second husband George Harmon; parents, Jack and Naida Bullock; sister, Judy VanLandingham; brothers, Jack Bullock Jr., John Bullock, and Jim Bullock; and grandmother, Beatrice Robinson. She is survived by her daughters, Erin Lohoefer (husband, Matt), Judy Evans (husband, Justin); grandchildren, Luke Lohoefer, Jake Lohoefer, Quinn Davis, Elam Evans, Ellis Evans; nieces and nephew, Jennifer Downey, Sally McClure, Rick VanLandingham; brother, Steve Bullock; as well as many loving friends and extended family members.
