Jerry Max Krontz

Jerry Max Krontz passed away peacefully at his home on March 8th at the age of 82. He was predeceased by his ex-wife Lynne Anne Richardson age 72. He is survived by his loving husband and partner of 25 years, Tyrone Derrick Poynter, his son Jeoff Krontz, daughter-in-law Ronda Krontz and daughter Sarah Hendrickson. In addition, he is survived by 5 loving grandchildren (Nick, Ryan, Tiffany, Madison, Morgan) to whom he has always been known as “BP”. Jerry worked with Army Air Force Exchange Service in logistics and had many foreign assignments working in this capacity bringing his intellect to bear on solving the issues arising from shipping goods to remote locations around the world. He enjoyed travelling with his husband including Japan, New Zealand, Costa Rica and their repeat favorites Australia and Hawaii. Jerry loved making dollhouses for family and friends, and spending time in his garden with his husband. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 19th 2022 from 2 – 3 pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral home, 7990 President George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, Texas, 75252. In lieu of flowers donations to charities related to Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s research.
