Joetta Colene Odom passed away peacefully in her sleep on march 15, 2022. She was born on May 28, 1929 to Charles M. Stenson and Willie V. Stenson. Joetta married Douglas James Odom on January 18, 1957. They were married over 40 years, until they were departed in death in 1996 to that union 1 son was born. She is survived by Steve James Odom (Lisa Odom); 4 granddaughters, Caroline, Hannah, Reese, and Reagan Odom. Joetta was raised in a small town by the name of Truth or Consequences. She then met her husband in Beaumont, Texas. Joetta worked in RISD for over 35 years. There will be a celebration of life for Joetta at a later date. Please contact the family for more information.
