John Erwin Reese

John Erwin Reese, age 60, of Carrollton, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on September 29, 2016. He was born on September 11, 1956, in San Benito, Texas and was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Collins Reese and Jo Lois Reese.

John graduated from San Benito High School. He then went on to earn his Bachelor of Environmental Design and Master of Architecture degrees from Texas A&M University.

John was a loving husband, father, brother and uncle who enjoyed spending his free time with his family – his most precious times included coaching his girls in soccer, cheering them on in other sports and activities, and proudly seeing them graduate from college. He loved barbeque, the outdoors and, most of all, Aggie football!

He is survived by his wife, Anne; daughters, Caroline and Catherine Reese; sister, Martha Zavaleta; nephews, Jay Zavaleta and his wife, Val, and Jeff Zavaleta and his wife, Kim; niece, Jennifer Zavaleta; and many loving cousins.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, 4141 International Parkway, Carrollton, Texas 75007. Memorial donations may be made to Texas Oncology Foundation, 12221 Merit Drive, Suite 500, Dallas, TX 75251.
