Johnnie Salina Hernandez

Johnnie Salina Hernandez, of Odessa, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026, at the age of 39. Born on May 22, 1987, in Odessa, Texas, to Juan "Gallo" and Sandra Hernandez, Johnnie graduated from Odessa High School before pursuing college and beginning her career as a medical assistant with Chappell Rosso Dermatology, now Pinnacle Dermatology. She cared deeply for those around her and was known for her compassionate heart. Johnnie will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, infectious laugh, and unmistakable personality. She was quick to make others smile, fiercely loved those closest to her, and embraced life with a strength and authenticity that left a lasting impression. Above all, her greatest joy was being a mother. Her daughters were the center of her world, and her love for them was immeasurable. She is survived by her loving parents, Sandra and Juan "Gallo" Hernandez; her sister, brother-in-law and nieces, Charlie, CT, Jessie, Autumn, Bailey, and Aliya; step siblings, Amy and Richard Bustos; and her two daughters, Dylan and Presley, who will forever carry her love in their hearts. Johnnie's laughter, kindness, and love will continue to live on through the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Odessa, Texas. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring and celebrating her life.
