June was born on June 25, 1928 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of Eleanor Griffin and Herbert Harrison. She graduated from Morristown High School and worked as a telephone operator in Bernardsville for a few years. She married George Enyingi and joined him in the house in Basking Ridge where they raised four children and lived for the next 68 years.
In 1966, June started to work as a cashier at Shop Rite, where she worked until she retired in 1993. June loved to travel and she enjoyed many cruises and other trips over the years. June was also very active in the Piece Makers quilting group at Bishop Janes United Methodist Church in Basking Ridge. June was an extraordinarily caring person who was a friend to all and never had a unkind word for anyone. June was devoted to her family and loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, her brother and sister-in-law Don and Pat and their family. When her husband George became ill, she cared for him tirelessly, first at home and later at the Veterans Administration hospital in Lyons, where she visited him daily. After George passed away in 2018, she moved to Dallas so that she herself could be cared for more intensively by her daughter Susan.
June is survived by her sons, Neil (Nancy) Enyingi of Port Murray and Bruce Enyingi of Belle Meade, her daughter, Susan (Geoff) Spencer of Dallas, and her daughter-in-law Joan Enyingi of Califon; her sister-in-law, Pat Morong of Morristown; grandchildren Tony Enyingi of Port Murray, George (Liz) Enyingi of Hackettstown, Chrissy (Justin) Leese of Hope, Heather Enyingi of Norfolk, Virginia, Jill (Jeremy) Todd of Port Murray, Susan ( Adam) DeRobbio of Greentown, Pennsylvania, and April Roberts; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband George, her son Ron, her brothers Don Morong, George Jeffrey, and Bill Harrison, and sister Eleanor Chillingworth.
