During the Cowboys’ 1990’s dominant years Layne had the opportunity to attend the 1994 Super Bowl defeating the Buffalo Bills for the second consecutive year! This Super Bowl was extra special for him because he shared the experience with his brother Lanny.
Layne cherished and loved his family more than anything. Over the past two years he was blessed with the birth of his granddaughters Audrey and Hazel. He was so proud and beamed when he heard the words “PawPaw”!
Layne is preceded in death by his father, Dale Brooks, his mother Evelyn Brooks, his brother, Larry Brooks, and Sister In-Law, Iris Brooks.
