Linda K. Holden, 75, passed away on November 23, 2022 in Frisco, TX. She was born on May 7, 1947 in Mesa, Arizona. Linda graduated from high school in Bakersfield, California and received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of North Texas. She was a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation.
Linda was an artist, avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Her favorite media were sculpture, ceramics, and also enjoyed beading and jewelry making. She was a strong supporter of many social causes, including Native American Communities, animal and environmental conservation, as well as women's rights.
She is preceded in death by her parents and younger sister, Cynthia (Tug). She is survived by her sister Ginger Alvarez; daughters Patricia Segovia, son-in-law Rafael Segovia, and Robin Easton, son-in-law Sean Easton, and three grandchildren Andres Segovia, Joaquin Segovia and Astrid Easton.
Linda requested no services to be held and that her ashes be spread. Please consider a donation in Linda's name to First Nations Development Institute (www.firstnations.org) or Friends of the Earth (www.foe.org) , as these organizations were important to her.
