Luann Jones

LuAnn Jones, 72, passed away in Dallas, Texas, on June 10, 2026.

Born on September 24, 1953, in Hinsdale, Illinois, LuAnn was the daughter of Leon Larson and Jean Larson (Kilgore). She lived a life marked by dedication to her family, her hobbies, and the people who knew her.

LuAnn enjoyed quilting and sewing and spent many years creating beautiful handmade pieces. She found great satisfaction in these crafts and took pride in sharing her work with family and friends. She also treasured time spent with her family, especially her granddaughter, Kaitlyn.

LuAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Leon Larson and Jean (Kilgore) Larson, and her sister, Lynne Hendricks.

She is survived by her husband, Randy; her daughters, Felysha and Kelly; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn; and her sister, Barbara.

In her final days, LuAnn was blessed to have all of her family able to visit and spend time with her, sharing their love, memories, and goodbyes. She was especially comforted by the presence of her devoted husband, Randy, who remained faithfully by her side and with her in her final moments.

LuAnn will be remembered for her creativity, her strength, and the care she showed to those around her. Her memory will be cherished by her family and friends. A woman of strong Christian faith, LuAnn found comfort and guidance in her belief throughout her life. Her family takes peace in knowing that she has gone home to be with the Lord and has been reunited with loved ones who passed before her.
