Marilou Mills

Marilou Mills was an active, artistic lover of life. She passed away October 1st, 2026. Born July 15th, 1938, Marilou grew up with her three siblings in Glezen, Indiana. She met her husband Ed Mills 67 years ago and they were married for 58 years until his death in 2020. Together they raised two children in a wonderful home, an inviting environment with a revolving door of friends. She worked retail for many years and, upon retirement, took up painting. She became quite accomplished and loved painting works for her friends and family. She was a great wife, mother and friend who will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Marilou was preceded in death by her parents John Thomas and Helen Smith, brothers Thomas and Jerry Smith, sister Betty Joan Benjamin and husband George Edwin (Ed) Mills. She is survived by son John Mills (Laura) and daughter Elizabeth Bryan (Jeff). Her legacy continues with grandchildren Jimi Mills (Sarah), Joe Mills, Jessica Mills, Micayla Roth (Franklin) and Gracyn Bryan and great grandchildren Leo, Evie and Cade Mills.
