Michael Franklin Price

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Franklin Price of Grand Prairie, Texas, on March 27, 2026, at the age of 57. Michael was born on March 19, 1969, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He spent his early years in Duncanville before later living in DeSoto, Texas.

Michael worked in a variety of fields throughout his life, most recently as a painter on large construction projects. He was a man who took pride in his work and believed in doing things the right way.

He found great joy in cooking and never settled for anything less than perfect. Whether he was in the kitchen or playing Call of Duty, Michael gave his full attention and effort. His love for music reflected his dynamic personality—torn between heavy metal rock and country, he could be both a Southern gentleman and a rock band enthusiast. He also cherished quiet moments at home, especially relaxing on the couch with his girlfriend, Shana, watching old Westerns. His favorite actor was Charles Bronson.

Above all else, Michael’s greatest love was his family. His three daughters were his pride and joy, and nothing meant more to him than hearing them say what a good father he was. That sentiment stayed close to his heart. His love only grew with the arrival of his two grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness. One of his greatest joys was looking back on Facebook memories filled with moments shared with his family. They were truly the center of his world.

Michael touched the lives of all who knew him with his gentle spirit and kind heart. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and compassion that will live on in those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Haley Price, Kalee Price, and Skyler Price; his grandchildren, Harmony Guerra and Serenity Price; and his siblings, David Reeves (Cristel), Carla Reeves, Kathy Reeves, Ronnie Reeves (LeiAnn), Donnie Reeves (Claudia), and Lori James (Bobby).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Willoughby; his brother, Philip Reeves; and his sister, Julie Billmyre.
