Miranda was born on July 15, 1995, in Norman, OK to Bryan and Jenny Willey. When Miranda was three years old, she and her parents moved to Prosper, TX to be closer to family where Miranda eventually attended elementary and middle school. Her brother, Aiden Willey, was born in February 2002 when Miranda was six-and-a-half years old. She loved Aiden instantaneously and they grew to have a very special bond.
Miranda graduated from Berkner High School in Richardson; then attended Collin County Community College. Most recently, Miranda was pursuing a Dental Assistant certification to begin a career in dental care.
Miranda had a passion for photography. She was creative and had an eye for seeing the beauty in all things. As an artist, she combined these talents to create extraordinary photographs that she gave to many family members and friends, which will forever be cherished and displayed. She was always one to find the best in others, she cared deeply for her friends, family and loved ones. She always lent a helping hand, listened to others when they needed to be heard, and had the very best of conversations.
She was known for her quick wit, infectious smile and laugh, goofy sense of humor, immense love for her family and friends, her kind and compassionate spirit, and especially for her determination and grit to overcome adversity, to become her best self and live a happy and healthy life.
Miranda is preceded in death by her Great-Grandfather John Thornton, her Great-Grandmother Helen Thornton, Great-Grandfather James Willey, Great-Grandmother Marge Willey, her Great-Aunt Jeanie, and her Uncle Mark Keene.
