

Randal Clinton Gatewood of Dallas, Texas, passed away on May 26, 2016 at the age of 57. He was born on March 13, 1959 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Paul and Barbara (Gibson) Gatewood. Randal was a very accomplished artist and applied his talent to his unique creation of Puzzle Boxes. He also enjoyed playing his guitar and was an aficionado of a variety of music styles. Randal was well loved by family and friends, he was known for his loyalty and positive attitude. His favorite saying was “I can. I will.”, and it was with this hope and determination that he conducted himself. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Randal is survived by his wife, Karen Gatewood; step-son, James Christian and wife, Laura; step-daughter, Katie Turner and husband, Tray, his parents Paul and Barbara Gatewood, and brothers Rick and Greg Gatewood.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Susan Gatewood.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Randal’s life will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel at Ted Dickey West Funeral Home, 7990 George Bush Turnpike, Dallas, TX 75252.
