Rhett graduated from Berkner High School in 2016 and was pursuing a degree in construction management. Rhett was a deep thinker, a constant source of laughter, the most loyal friend you could ask for, and a gentle spirit.
He loved his family more than anything. He felt the most at peace when he was in nature; hunting and fishing with his dad brought him so much joy.
On April 20, 2020, Rhett left this earth far too soon as the result of a car accident. Through organ donation, his death gave life to others.
He inspires us to always stand up for what you believe is right, to act with kindness, compassion, and empathy, and to find the good in people.
His legacy is to never give up on the people you love, to ask the hard questions, and to tell people how you're feeling at all times.
Rhett is survived by his parents, Drew and Kelli Sinquefield; brother, Reed Sinquefield; sister, Regan Sinquefield and her fiancé Eric Marcella; maternal grandpa, C.L. Gideon and his wife, Doris Gideon; paternal grandma, Marjorie Sinquefield; aunts and uncles, Kristi Lombardo, Cheryl Bastian, Jay Lombardo, and Jeff Boone; cousins, Nick Lombardo, Lexi Lombardo, Brooks Boone, and Jordan Boone.
We love you, Rhett, and we will spend the rest of our days missing you.
Mom, Dad, Reed, and Regan.
In honor and memory of Rhett, we urge you to always wear your seatbelt.
“Life’s just a flowing river.
At time it’s cold, you jitter and shiver.
The waves a lion, a steady roar.
In this world, well is there more?
I don’t know sir, so let’s explore.”
