Survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Carolyn Roberson Cantin, Richard's legacy of love and commitment stands as a testament to their enduring partnership. His daughter, Sherry Cantin Lee, and her husband, James Lee, who Richard held in high esteem as if he were his own son, will forever cherish the memories and lessons he imparted. Richard's name will live on through his grandson, Richard Lee, who carries not just his name but also his grandfather's kind spirit.
Richard's sister, Carole Skeen of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and his brother, Randy Davis, along with Randy's wife Beverly of North Richland Hills, Texas, will remember Richard as a wise and loving brother. His many nieces and cousins, too, will hold dear the moments shared and the wisdom gained from their time with him.
For 45 years, Richard dedicated himself to the insurance industry, where his professionalism and integrity were well-known. His colleagues respected him for his insightful guidance and his clients trusted him for his honest advice. Richard's involvement in industry associations further showcased his commitment to his profession and the community he served.
Beyond his professional achievements, Richard was a man of many interests. He loved tennis, a sport that not only kept him active but also brought him joy and camaraderie. Richard also took up golf and spent many years playing it. Traveling with his wife Carolyn was another of Richard's passions. Together, they explored many places, creating a tapestry of memories that Carolyn will hold close to her heart.
