Richard Rose, husband and father left us on Friday, June 20, 2025 to rejoin his beloved wife Elizabeth, of 58 years. After Elizabeth’s passing, he lived with his daughter and was able to pass peacefully at home.
Richard was born on December 14, 1937 in Low Point, Illinois to Arthur and Mary Rose. Following high school, he joined the Army where he met and married Elizabeth Post.
After marrying Elizabeth lived for a short time in his home state of Illinois. Eventually they moved back to New York where they owned and operated a Snow Ski retail shop for 45 years.
He is survived by two children David Rose and Vickie Rose.
