Robbie Lee Chilton of Pampa, Texas, age 99, passed away Sunday morning, August 11, 2024 in Dallas, Texas at Walnut Place where she was a resident for two years. There will be a private service in Pampa on October 5. Robbie was born October 3, 1924 in Farwell, Texas to Alvin and Jeffa Russell. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1943 and married Jim Messinger, a cadet stationed in Pampa in the Army Air Corp in 1944. They traveled extensively during his 20 year military career. She later married Bill Chilton of Clarendon Texas and was widowed on December 31, 2000. She was very artistic and loved oil painting, china painting and ceramics. She loved her home and her dogs. She especially looked forward to out of town family visiting her in Pampa. She is survived by her daughter Jeanine Russell of Dallas and four stepsons, Lynn, Mike, Steve and Pat Chilton and families. She will be missed.
