We know Ron is in a better place, and we’ll miss him dearly.  We already do.  I worked with Ron in the old TI DSEG days with TI Learning Institute and had become close friends with him and his family over the years.  I was always amazed at Ron’s endless technical knowledge in just about any subject area.  Whether engineering, flora or fauna, he seemed to know it, and not just on the surface, but he really knew it.  He was a friend and a mentor.  His knowledge of analog and RF design was particularly impressive.  Most EEs could only aspire to grasp and apply this in real world applications, but Ron did it, and he did it with tenacity.  Always with a smile and a story to share, Ron could provide you endless hours of storytelling of amazing adventures of life.  Let’s not forget his service to his country – a weight he carried for all of us.  To his loving family, we send you our prayers.  We will always be there for you.

Dear Miska family:
I really enjoyed hanging out with Ron.  I guess he felt like one of my uncles and I kinda felt like I "adopted" him as such.  He was certainly worthy of it.  He was especially memorable to me for one reason.  He had so many reasons to brag yet was very humble.  We enjoyed a great day this fall at a car show and he told me many stories of life and fun.  I believe in the end he was thankful and was a magnificent success in my book since his ways will stay as a permanent imprint on our hearts.

To Bill and Beth:  The space in your soul where it hurts will stay for a while but soon it will change to a strength to bring all the values your Dad instilled in you to the world.. Make it count.. I know you will.

Dear Linda,
I have never attended such a nice memorial and funeral as Ron's was.  You did such a great job of putting all the details of each day together so nicely.  It was so touching and lovingly done.  Ron was very very proud of you.  I am sure he was poud of the way you did his funeral too.  
You also did such a remarkable job of being a hostess to all the family and friends at your house for so many days.  I found it amazing how well you could keep us all organized and that would have been an amazing job if it was just a Christmas gathering but it was so exceptional given the circumstance being Ron's death and funeral for the family gathering.  You are a very remarkable Linda.

May praise and glory be at peace with Ron and his family during this time of the year.  Having worked with Ron these past several years, and having his expertise on our side, we were able to over come some difficult resolutions.  It was a pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with him on various projects. I enjoyed hearing the stories of his exploits and family travels.  May peace be with the Miska Family.

Ron's family is in my thoughts and prayers.  I had the privelege of working with Ron for the past 10 years.  We became friends as we had a lot in common ( Minnesota born and raised, farming, North Dakota State University, love of engineering).  Ron was an excellent engineer, fun to work with, and he went out of his way to help others be successful.  An important part of his legacy is his teaching and mentoring; Ron willingly shared his knowledge and expertise and this helped me and many others.  He always worked with a smile regardless of the task, and I admired Ron's extraordinary enthusiasm and energy.  We will miss him greatly.

Linda, Bill, and Beth, it’s hard for me to find the right words to say during this difficult time for you and our family. Uncle Ron was a wonderful person with such a gentle giving heart. I will always cherish all of our special memories of you guys coming to visit us in Alexandria MN. My mom’s first comment when we saw each other after hearing the tragic news about Ron’s death was that, he was always one to say, “I Love You.” I know one thing for sure is that uncle Ron loved his family and he always showed it and I believe that is the greats gift he could of left for us. Dear Linda, Bill, and Beth, I am so sorry for your loss.  May God be with you in your grief.  Jane Sirek called to let me know.  I've looked through the pictures and guest book and they bring back many fond remberances.  Thank you for sharing them.  Ron and I grew up and went to high school together.  He has always been a friend and I will miss him also.

Linda, I'm sorry for the loss of Ron for you and your family.  His life was a positive impact for all of us who were fortunate to work with him.  Ron was one of the few "go to" guys when I worked with him at TI from 87'-95'.  He has gone too soon and will be missed by many.

I was saddened today to hear of Ron's passing at such a young age.  I worked with him at RLI and later at the McKinney site.  Ron was an interesting person and I enjoyed our conversations both inside and outside of work.  He passed on knowledge easily, and was always eager to learn new things himself.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family, Ron.

Thinking of you, Linda, Bill, and Beth, during this sad time.  Linda - Ron always welcomed your work friends into the home and made us feel like family.  I will miss his kindness and warm sense of humor.  I hope you are feeling the love of so many friends whose hearts are breaking for you. Ron was not only a cousin but one of those uniquely great guys that you would call a friend. While Ron was four years older, we did grow up on neighboring farms in the country. When we both were on the wrestling team in Warren, he would often give me a ride home after practice, BUT only after we stopped at the drug store to have a hot fudge sundae or root beer float and visit with friends. I often reflect back on that unique time. He will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I spent many years working with Ron at Texas Instruments and then Raytheon until his retirement this year. When I first met Ron he was sharing an office with Jim F. and were they ever a pair. I had fun with them everyday at work. Ron will be missed by many people. May God be with his family during these times.

Ron was such a fine person...I am honored to have known him and to have worked with him at Texas Instruments.  He was truly an inspiration.  His knowledge and willingness to help others is something that I will always remember and that will forever serve as a wonderful example.  I will also remember his sense of humor and that great smile!  My prayers are with the family.

I served with Ron in Vietnam. We kept in touch through the 4th Infantry Association and email. The photo gallery gives me a great sense of Ron's life. I will miss him. May God bless his family.

Ron was a good friend and fellow instructor in the TI Learning Institute, where we worked together for many years. He was an inspiration to us all and many 0f us spent a lot of time in Ron & Jim's cubicle.  Ron was always willing to help and he was very knowledgeable on many subjects.  I will miss him and pray for the repose of his soul.

I spent ten good years with Ron at Texas Instruments from 1985 to 1995.  Professionally he was not only very knowledgeable in Electrical Engineering, but also could write and deliver courses in many subjects.  He had the ability to positively impact the work and even careers of many in the company.  However, we who worked with him over the years appreciated many of his other attributes even more.  He cared about the people around him, both in a professional and social environment, and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to those that asked.  He may have been taken from us at a fairly young age, but his legacy will live on through those of us who enjoyed his friendship.

Ron made work fun!  We worked in the TI Learning Institute together, and I greatly admired Ron's patience, positive attitude, thoughtfulness, and willingness to help his teammates.  I am praying for his family, and hoping that you can find some comfort as you honor his life.  God bless you.

Many have said that Ron has left us way too soon and I agree completely.  Ron was one of the first people that welcomed me to Texas Instruments and the world of industrial training over 23 years ago. I worked with him on many projects and I was always amazed at how easily he was able to relate to the students and help them understand whatever it was that we were trying to teach them. Whenever I needed help, he would drop what he was doing to help me, someone that I could always count on no matter what the job. A great person we will all miss dearly. Deeply saddened to learn of the loss of my cousin, Ron.  I grew up on the farm next to Raymond's, rode the bus with Ron. He was a mystical cousin to me; I did not know him that well but was kind of in awe of his obvious intellect and the ever ready smile.   May he rest in peace.   Our family will miss him greatly.
