Ronald Wadas, aged 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at his home in Plano, Texas. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 1, 1948 to Helen and Frank Wadas. Ron graduated from Morton West High School in Berwyn, Illinois in 1966 and spent the next two years proudly serving his country in the US Army as a member of the 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One). After his military service, Ron joined the Oak Park, Illinois Fire Department and served there until his retirement. Ron and Ann relocated to Plano, Texas in 2007 and he spent much of his retired years perfecting his expert woodworking and home remodeling skills and enjoying his family. Ron is survived by his wife Ann, his sons Richard and Dennis (Tami), sisters Sandra Gurzynski (Bob) and Susan Malitzke (J.C.), three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all.
