Passed away on September 1, 2014. Born to Brice and Lela McEver in Itasca, Texas, December 25, 1917. Royce is survived by his loving wife of 71 years Freddie Jackson McEver; son, Michael McEver and wife Becki; daughter, Mary Frances Townsend and husband George; grandsons, Gray Townsend and wife Dottie, Chad McEver and wife Margaret Ann; granddaughters, Megan McKelvey and husband Adam, and Michelle Carter and husband Todd; 11 great grandchildren, Haley, Jake, and Peyton Townsend, Brice and Wiley McEver, Mycah, Kapp, and Mollie McKelvey, Alex, Marin, and Abby Carter. A service for Royce will be on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 3 pm at Ted Dickey West Funeral home in Dallas, Texas.
