

Passed away peacefully on April 28th in Dallas, Texas following a long battle with Parkinsons disease. She was 91 years old. Sally is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Grace Smith, her beloved "baby" brother Art Elden Smith, and her loving husband, Buster Brown Webb. After her early life in Houston, she attended William Woods College and the University of Texas where she studied childhood education. While in college, she pledged Zeta Tua Alpha sorority and was an active member throughout her life. After completing her education, she settled in Midland, where she spent many years teaching kindergarten and first grade, primarily at Trinity school. Sally was passionate about all things performative and theatrical, and spent many years acting and volunteering with Midland Community Theater and the Summer Mummers. She also loved the Episcopal church and found great comfort in its hymns and liturgy. Sally's life will be celebrated in a private gathering of family to honor her wishes. She is survived by a daughter, Margaret Blackmon; stepsons Justin and Tracy Webb; granddaughter Mary Roeloffs (Kyle); grandson Seth Blackmon; and one great granddaughter. Sally's family would like to give a very special thank you to Deanna Carter who provided years of care and friendship to Sally.
