Indian children have the habit of calling their parents friends uncles/aunties. But I considered Sridhar Uncle truly part of my family that went beyond blood. He was not only someone that watched me grow, but helped me grow into the person I am able to be today. From taking me to school when I was but a 3rd grader all the way to helping me with my college applications to being Zen’s favorite person. Uncle was always there and lending me support one way or another. The advice and lessons you gave me throughout these years is something I will always cherish and hold onto. No amount of words I put here will be enough for me to properly express this loss so rest well Uncle you were, are, and always will be someone I look up to.

Dear Sukanya and Aditi,

The “Daru kings” group of five was always a meeting of heart, mind, spirit and daru. And it was Sridhar that brought intellectual curiosity and honesty to our conversations. I used to look forward to meeting the group just to have those mind duels.  I will always cherish him as a reminder to bring our mind and intellect to conversations with friends, in addition to the love, care and spirit. Thank you for everything you did for him so that I could enjoy his company alongside the rest of the gang!

Dear Sridhar
I loved your zest for life and adventure. I have fond memories of eating ice cream on the banks of a Amsterdam canal and our exhaustive trek in the Smokey Mountains. I will miss  our banter on being married to MSV's ........ daughters and our campus life long time ago.

Sridhar’s passing is deeply saddening news. 
Although I did not have the opportunity to know him personally, his loss will be felt. 
My thoughts are with Sukanya and the family during this difficult time. May they find strength and comfort in the support of loved ones and in the memories they hold dear.

I had the honor of working with Sridhar for over 10 years in 3 different organizations. He was a brilliant human being that did not shy away from any challenge that came in the way. He had a way of making the hardest work days feel manageable with his calmness, brilliance and smile. He worked with no ego and always praised and supported other people on the team. I will miss our once-a-year lunches where we caught up and it always felt like no time has passed. He spoke about his family and always told me how smart and intelligent his wife Sukanya his; truly humble guy. I will miss his friendship.

Feels like it was just yesterday this tall, dark, handsome, every gal's dream guy showed up at my doorstep to steal my baby sis. He succeeded. Will cherish the memories and the happy times. Lucky for me to have had him as my brother-in-law for 30 years. He will live in my heart forever. A beautiful life cut short too soon. Who do I get angry at? Sis, you and I are two peas in the same pod. Let's pray for Sridhar's soul's peaceful journey back and for our peace on this earth. May God give us the strength to cross this river of grief we have been flung into. Love you and Aditi more than you will ever know. Hang in there, my baby!

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my friend and former colleague, Sridhar. We worked together for 7 years in MetaSolv and Spatial/Alcatel-Lucent, but our friendship lasted decades beyond that.

Sridhar was a rare soul: an IIT brilliant mind who remained incredibly grounded. He was never one to argue or show off. He was a friend who always guided colleagues in the right direction and never stopped being authentic. I will miss our get togethers and his thoughtful perspective. Rest in peace, my friend.

Sridhar was not just a colleague, but a mentor who guided, inspired, and supported so many of us. His wisdom, kindness, and encouragement will always stay with me. He was a mentor in every sense, and he always will be.
