Teresa Lynn (Patton) Evans was born on June 2nd, 1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Earline (Patton) Beck and Charles Patton. She passed away Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 after a seven year battle with cancer at age 61.

She graduated Irving High School in Irving, TX and attended UT Arlington, TX. Teresa met and married Michael Dean Evans on August 30th, 1980 in Irving, TX. Not only was she a loving wife, mother, and personal secretary for many years but she was also a Girl Scout leader, cheerleading coach, Tarrant County Regional PTA President, as well as President/Woman of the Year of Beta Sigma Phi Women's Sorority. She volunteered much of her time towards charity and giving back to every community she was a part of.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents John and Bessie Patton, Earl and Alrie Cornell.

Teresa is survived by her husband Michael Evans of Little Elm, TX; one daughter Rachel Lynn Evans and husband Buddy Evans of Gilmer, TX; one son Jon-Michael Dillon Evans and Dr. Emily Kirkpatrick, Pharm D of South Texas; four grandchildren Austin Evans, Dawson Evans, Skyler Evans, and Simbree Evans of Gilmer, TX; her mother Earline Beck and step-father Don Beck of Prosper, TX; her father Charles Patton and step-mother Judy Patton of Cleburne, TX; two brothers, Michael Patton and wife Carol of Cleburne, TX, Kenneth Patton and wife Travis of Fort Worth, TX; many close cousins and dear friends.

Michael - I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Teresa. When I first met you both, I immediately learned what a beautiful loving couple you were. She was amazing in grace, beauty and that smile! Prayers for you, Rachel and Jon-Michael, and the grands! Heaven just gained another angel!

Teresa had such a great heart, was fun to be around, and we think about what a wonderful person she was all the time. It will be such a loss without her positive and loving nature.
