Wilson A. Ellis was born in Yazoo County Mississippi on January 24, 1936 to the union of Wilson Alfred Ellis and Ida Mae Hagan.
Early in Wilson's life, he confessed his life to CHrist. As a young boy Wilson was happy and well liked. WIlson moved From Vaughn Mississippi to Chicago to better his life and find good work. During this time he met and fell in love with Mae Ethel Hayes.
This marriage spanned over 40 years only to end in the passing of Mae Ellis on April 3, 2011.
From this marriage he had three boys, larry Ellis (preceded his parents in death on September 30, 2006), Alvin Ellis, and Kelvin Ellis. He also had four daughters, Seneca Ellis, Tina Ellis, Sonji Yvette Ellis, and Sherry Ellis Nelson ( Amos Nelson.)
Wilson accepted and embraced a relationship with Thelma Herron of Chicago and from this union two twin daughters were born, Shelia and Sharon Herron.
God opened the gated of Heaven this morning and received Wilson on November 30, 2022.
Wilson leaves to cherish in memory his 8 children, two sisters, Ruth Lark and Betty Massey, grandchildren , great grandchildren, as well as a host of relatives and friends.
