Anna Maria Grillo, 85, of Deer Park, New York, passed away on August 27, 2026. Born on July 21, 1941, in Sicily to Salvatore and Nunzia Affonte, she was one of five children. Throughout her life, Anna Maria was deeply cherished, remembered for a compassionate spirit, steady patience, and a generous heart that offered comfort in quiet, enduring ways. Her faithful devotion to family and to the values she held close remained a guiding presence to all who knew her.
Anna Maria was the wife of the late Antonio Grillo. She was the devoted mother of Salvatore and his wife Lisa Marie, Angela and her husband Dominick, and Anthony. She was a loving grandmother to Antonio and his wife Celia, Lucia and her husband Jason, and Adrianna, and a great-grandmother to Vincenzo. She is also survived by her sisters Francesca and her husband Jose, and Nunzia. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Boyd-Caratozzolo Funeral Home, PATRIOT CHAPEL, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on September 1, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthew RC Church, 35 N Service Rd, Dix Hills, NY 11746, on September 2, 2026, from 10:45 am to 11:30 am.
A Committal Service will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, 2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY, on September 2, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm.
