Clyde McDaniel Jr.

Clyde McDaniel Jr., age 77, of Dix Hills, New York passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Clyde was born July 10, 1944 in Norfolk, Va. He attended both public and parochial schools and graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School in 1962. Clyde received a Bachelors of Arts in accounting from Howard University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Columbia University School of Law in 1969. His work career consisted of tax, legal and accounting positions with Pear Marwick Mitchell Certified Public Accountants and American Express Company. He was a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Clyde served as an usher at his parish, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal RC Church. He enjoyed music and compiling collectibles. Clyde is survived by his sons: Victor McDaniel & Brian McDaniel, his sister: Valerie Higgins, his grandchildren: Ashley Golson, Noah McDaniel & Gabriel McDaniel, and many cousins, nephews and nieces. A visitation for Clyde will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 1434 Straight Path, Wyandanch, NY 11798. A funeral mass will occur Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM, 1434 Straight Path, Wyandanch, NY 11798. A private cremation will follow.
