Nicholas served in the United States Marines and later dedicated himself to public service as a Police Officer. Through years of hard work and steady courage, he lived with a sense of duty that was matched by a generous spirit and a compassionate heart—qualities that were felt most by those who knew him best.
Above all, Nicholas was a devoted husband and father, and a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. His kind-hearted nature, quiet bravery, and adventurous spirit left a lasting impression, and his care for others was evident in the way he showed up—reliably, thoughtfully, and with genuine concern.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Claude R. Boyd/Caratozzolo Funeral Home, 1785 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729, on August 17, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and again from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
