Alma Angeles Tejada Domingo, 76, was born on October 29, 1949, in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, and passed away on September 23, 2026. She will be remembered as a beloved, kind-hearted, and faithful presence—someone whose steady devotion, thoughtful care, and quiet wisdom shaped the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
Raised in Banna, Alma carried with her the values of perseverance and love for learning. She studied at the university of Northern Luzon State College and graduated with a degree in BS in Secondary Education. With a generous spirit and a natural gift for guiding others, she also served as a mentor at Catagtaguen Barangay High school, offering encouragement and support that reflected her compassionate heart.
Alma dedicated herself to work with the same resilience and diligence she brought to her family life. She taught for several years at Bangsar Elementary School. Later, after moving to California and making her home in Delano, she worked at Sears Warehouse in Delano, where her hard-working nature and loyalty were evident to all who worked alongside her. She retired after 17 years, leaving behind a legacy of reliability, strength, and care.
For 30 years, Alma was married to Bonifacio Domingo, whose passing she carried with enduring faith and steadfast love. Her greatest pride and priority was always her family. She was a devoted mother whose sacrifices spoke louder than words—working tirelessly, giving generously, and loving deeply. She is survived by her children, daughter Michelle Domingo Quitoriano and youngest child Chris John Tejada Domingo; and by her grandchildren, Emily Domingo and John Christian Domingo, who brought her immense joy.
Alma believed in living life to the fullest, and she found happiness in the everyday moments that became lasting memories. She loved gardening, going to breakfast and lunches with her friends, visiting with family, traveling, playing bingo, shopping at the outlets, and—especially during the holidays—dancing and karaoke singing. She enjoyed watching her favorite shows and keeping up as she learned about current events, always engaged, always curious. Most of all, Alma loved spending time with her kids Michelle and John, as well as her grandkids Emily & Christian, cherishing the closeness of family with a grateful heart.
Friendship was another place where Alma’s warmth shone. She always looked forward to her annual reunions with her beloved childhood and college batch mates, treasuring the laughter, stories, and lifelong bonds they shared. True to her thoughtful and devoted nature, she especially enjoyed helping coordinate and plan their upcoming gatherings, making sure everyone felt included and cared for.
Alma was loved by her kids, grandchildren, family, and her friends—an enduring reflection of the life she lived and the love she gave. Her story is a beautiful reminder to work hard, love deeply, and hold close the people who matter most.
