Sr. Alvaro V. Tello

Mr. Alvaro V. Tello, 76 of Delano, California passed away on June 4, 2011 in Delano, California. Mr. Tello was born on January 8, 1935 in Ixtlan, Michoacan, Mexico. Mr. Tello was disabled and had been a farm worker for over 32 years in the Delano and surrounding areas. Mr. Tello is survived by his wife, Evelia Tello; Eldest son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons- Al, Emilee, Max, and Nelson Tello (Irvine, California); Daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter- Linda, Jose, and Gabrielle Gutierrez, (Fresno, California); Youngest son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren- Albert, Michelle, Jordan, and Ian Tello (Visalia, California). Mr. Tello is preceded in death by Jesus Tello, Serafina Tello, Jesus Tello, Jr., Rafeal Tello, Sylvia Bratcher, and Ruben Morales. Services will be as follows: Visitation and Rosary- Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Delano Mortuary Chapel; Catholic Mass- Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Delano, California. Pallbearers will be: Al Tello, Albert Tello, Jose Gutierrez, Tony Tello, Vincent Tello, Jesus Tello, Jr., II, Ricardo Tello, and Alberto Barbosa. Presiding clergy will be Father Pedro Umana.
